ISHA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026
Trainee Awards Programme
The ISHA – The Hip Preservation Society Trainee Awards Programme is committed to recognising and honouring young researchers whose work has contributed to better understanding and communication within the field of hip preservation.
The 2026 ISHA Trainee Awards will be The ISHA Basic Science Award and The Richard N. Villar Excellence in Clinical Research Award.
The ISHA Trainee Awards were created with the intention to stimulate and reward younger researchers who contribute high-quality data and presentations. Thus, residents and fellows with a study related to hip preservation are encouraged to apply for this award.
Judged by an ISHA-selected panel, the 2026 Trainee Awards will be awarded to the trainees who deliver the best oral presentations during the Annual Scientific Meeting, and will be presented at the Closing Session.
To apply for the ISHA Trainee Awards Programme, please complete the short form below, taking care to log in with the same details you used for your abstract submission. Applications will be open during the abstract submission period of 1 January to 13 April 2026.
ISHA – The Hip Preservation Society also wishes to acknowledge and honour the work of physiotherapists who have contributed their important work in the fields of hip preservation and rehabilitation for inclusion in the ISHA 2026 Scientific Programme.
Physiotherapy abstract submissions which have been accepted for either oral or EPoster presentation will be evaluated by reviewers during the Annual Scientific Meeting and awards will be presented at the Closing Session. No application is necessary.
